Arkady Luxemburg received a Master of Arts degree in 1964 at the
Academy of Music in Kishinev Moldova, the former USSR, where he
studied piano performance, composition and music theory.

He worked as a Concert Pianist, Accompanist, Instructor at the Academy
of Music, College of Music, School of Music and David Yellin College.
Some of his students became world known performers:
Mark Seltzer (USA), Oleg Masenberg (Austria).

A. Luxemburg is an author of works for Theory of Music and Harmony.
He was music director and pianist for a vocal group.

A. Luxemburg is a member of the Union of Composers in the former
USSR and Moldova and ASCAP in US. He is composer of pieces for
symphony orchestra, "Sinfonietta", Holocaust Symphony for Strings,
Two Concertos for Piano with Orchestra, Concerto for Cello with
Orchestra, symphony fantasy "Spring Melodies", Piano pieces:
"Aquarelie", "In Memory of Shostakovich", "In Memory of Gershwin"
and many other pieces for Strings, Brass and Woodwinds.

His compositions are published and played on radio and TV and he has
made many recordings. Many of his songs received awards.
His compositions have been played in Czech and Slovak Republick,
Romania, Hungary, Italy, Israel, France and USA.
He also writes music for Films, TV, Theaters, Choirs, Pop and Jazz songs.

At the end of 1995 A. Luxemburg moved to the USA where he continues
his career as a performer, composer and instructor in San Diego State University, Mesa College and California Ballet.
